Cavallo Sport Hoof Boots – Regular & Slim

These Cavallo Sport Hoof Boots are great for everyday use on barefoot horses or as an emergency boot in case of a pulled shoe. Riders love the ease and convenience of Cavallo Sport Hoof Boots, because they’re easy to put on and take off whenever you need a bit of extra protection for your horse.

Cavallo Sport horse boots come in two styles to choose from, depending on the size of your horse. The Original Slim Cavallo boot is great for horses with a narrower hoof, while the Regular is meant for hooves that are rounder and more equal in width and length. With smart features like a Velcro closure and an incredibly durable, waterproof construction, these Cavallo boots will keep your horse comfortable and dry.

Cavallo Sport Boots do not impede the horse’s natural movement; they can be used on narrow, rocky trails, through mud and water, at any pace, even over jumps. Anything your horse can do in shoes, your horse should be able to do in Cavallo Sport Boots (and maybe more!).

Note: When using Cavallo Hoof Boots for the first time, it’s a good idea to also use the Cavallo Pastern Wrap (sold separately). The Pastern Wraps help protect against rubbing that could occur when the boots are first used. Some horses get used to wearing hoof boots very quickly and won’t need the pastern wraps forever, but some horses will always be more comfortable wearing the wraps. Just be sure to break the boot in gradually; no three-hour trail rides the first time you put them on!

The Size Chart will help you figure out which boots will fit your horse best. The “Original” Boot is the Sport Slim for horses with a narrower hoof. The “Regular” boot is the rounder Sport for hooves that are the same width as length. Please note that the Cavallo Sport Hoof Boot runs about 1/4 inches (5mm) narrower that the original Simple boot, so keep that in mind when using the Simple Boot Size Chart.
