The Korsteel Jointed Beval Loose Ring Bit is a useful bit for all levels of training and competition. The Jointed Beval Loose Ring can be used in two different ways. Used either way, the Korsteel Jointed Beval Loose Ring Bit with single joint mouthpiece will create pressure on the tongue, roof of the mouth, and bars. Stainless steel construction means the Korsteel bit is strong and durable.

By attaching the reins to different parts of the loose ring cheeks, the Korsteel Jointed Beval Loose Ring Snaffle has greater versatility for the rider. To achieve the effect of a baucher, attach the bridle cheek to the small fixed loop at the top and attach the rein to the large loose ring. This allows the bit to move in the horse’s mouth, as a loose ring, plus adds poll pressure to reward the horse for lowering its head. To use as a mild gag bit, attach the rein to the small loop at the bottom. This delivers more leverage and poll pressure than a typical snaffle but is not as strong as most gag bits.
