The new Pessoa Junior Saddle has the perfect proportions for young riders stepping up from a pony saddle. The sophisticated, stylish close contact saddle from Pessoa has deluxe calfskin leather with a wonderful, grippy feel. The synthetic wool AMS panels are softer and gentler than foam, providing greater comfort for the horse or pony. AMS panels absorb shock so the rider enjoys greater comfort as well. In addition, AMS panels can be restuffed to achieve a custom fit or to fit a new horse. The Pessoa Junior Saddle’s wide channel will not impinge on the spine, making it easier for the horse to use its back correctly.

The innovative Pessoa XCH gullet system lets you change gullets in your Pessoa Junior Saddle to widen or narrow the tree to suit the horse or pony. The Junior Saddle is fitted with a Medium gullet, other size gullets from Narrow through XXX Wide are sold separately. The flexible carbon fiber tree is lightweight and moves with the horse, reducing friction and allowing greater mobility. Young riders and competitors will appreciate the Velcro knee and thigh blocks that allow just the right leg support plus the elegant look that makes the Pessoa Junior Saddle suitable for any show ring.
