Reinsman calls their Maximum Pressure Relieft (MPR) wool felt pad The Wither Maker because it’s designed to contour and cushion your horse while maintaining support. Reinsman’s MPR Pad is the pad of choice for the broad shouldered or mutton-withered horse. A viscoelastic hex cell molds to the shape of the horse to allow for more movement of the shoulder. It reduces pressure points caused by the bars of the saddle. By having proper alignment of the bars along the horse’s back, bar pressure is equalized allowing unrestricted movement of the shoulders and increased range of motion.

Wool provides excellent shock protection while naturally wicking away more moisture, releasing heat build up, breathing for a cooler ride, and is quick drying after use. The wool conforms to the horse’s back resulting in less slippage. The contour shape provides better fit for horses with more pronounced withers or more sway to their back and allows the saddle to fit properly. Reinman’s unique construction methods allow for their pads to be engineered for maximum back relief. They have USA Hi-Tech fibers so the inside of your saddle pad is just as reliable as the outside. Reinmans uses heavy oiled grain out wear leathers which result in less cracking and drying out.
